Cold Isostatic Pressing (CIP) is a molding technique that uses elastic materials such as rubber or plastic as molds at room temperature, with liquid (usually oil or water) as the pressure medium to uniformly press powder materials in all directions.

This technology is mainly applied to the forming of powder matenials, providing high-density blanks for furher sintering, forging,or hot isostatic pressing (HIP) processes. The advantage of CIP technology lies in its ability to achieve high-density and uniform powder compaction, and to form components with complex shapes and precise dimensions.
